I use Mozilla Firefox because it is the best. However, since yesterday I have been unable to open a browser, double-clicking or through the start menu. The little hourglass shows up on my cursor but nothing else happens. I am currently using IE, but I really don't want to be stuck with it forever.

I also have two papers due tomorrow, so I don't have time to research this myself.

What do I do? Do I have to reinstall?

When I was starting out in Chicago, doing improvisational theatre with Second City and other places, there was really only one rule I was taught about improv. That was, �yes-and.� In this case, �yes-and� is a verb. To �yes-and.� I yes-and, you yes-and, he, she or it yes-ands. An apparently famous strip club in Paris is using lamp-posts with specially designed posters as advertizement. I find it a creative use of space, and you can't really blame a strip club for using near-naked women in their ads. Do you find it offensive?

Just when I thought I knew what cool was, Rip Slyme's Galaxy smacked me upside the head.

Rip Slyme. A hip hop group from Japan. The word Rip comes from three of their names (Ryo-Z, Ilmari and Pes), while Slyme is from a toy that was popular at the time. Also, it's a pun on "lip's rhyme".

This is why I like reading blogs. Paul Wells and Idealistic Pragmatist are talking about Mike Klander's blog*, in which he posted offensive and juvenile comments about the Tories and the NDP. The Toronto Star published an article about it, but otherwise there's been no mention in mainstream media. This is either because it's Christmas and no one's working, or it's a blog and under their radar, or because it's actually a fake (comments on Idealistic Pragmatist indicate there's good reason to believe it's not). Mike Klander is also a public relations consultant...

I don't believe that this was printed by the CIA. I also sort of doubt that it's from the 1980's, though I don't know enough about graphic design to back up my claim. The moustaches and hairdo's are pretty convincing.

Remember those scary twin White Supremacist singers? Apparently Teen People was going to write a profile of them, without mentioning that they were Holocaust-denying racists! I know the standards for teen magazines are low, but that is simply not responsible journalism. Thankfully the piece has been pulled.
